My name is Karen McKeown and I am your State Member for Penrith.
I was elected to Penrith City Council from 2004 - 2024 serving two terms as Mayor.
I am very active in many community organisations and committees including as Vice President of the Australian Local Government Women’s Association NSW.
I am currently a Member of the Committee on Children and Young People and hold the position of Deputy Chair. I also sit on the Committee on the Ombudsman, the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission, and the Crime Commission for the Government.
I ran for parliament because Penrith needed a representative that will put them first.
As your Member of Parliament, I will be sure to represent you in a Minns Labor Government.
